So far, so good!

A Timeline of Steroid Abuse



Many individuals that take steroids want to gain muscle-mass quickly, however the side-effects are life-threatening, they range from:

·      Increased chance of infections (steroid abuse suppresses your immune system.)
·      Increased blood pressure
·      High blood sugar
·      Skin problems
·      Muscle Weakness
·      Mood behavior changes (some people actually feel better in themselves when they take steroids. However, steroids may aggravate depression and other mental health problems.)

5 Basic Ways to Bulk-Up





 1. Get in shape

I understand it can be hard to get motivated when going to the gym but the more you go the better you will start to feel. If you have motivation then awesome! If you’re a beginner start working out 3 times a week and gradually build this up to 4/5 times a week to get your best results!
You need to frequently go to the gym this will then build your muscle endurance and eventually you will notice that you’re working out with much more high intensity than you used too.
If you’ve never really been to the gym before then ask for a personal fitness training to talk you through some of the equipment available, don’t be embarrassed about it, when I joined the gym for the first time I had an appointment with my personal trainer and yes I was embarrassed to go ask for help but that’s what they are there to for!

Protein shakes vary from £10 - £60. I’ve had people tell me the more you spend on a protein shake the better it is for you. However you have to look at the ingredients used in the protein shake, as some may not be reliable as others.

Week 1






The objective of my blog will be to offer advice and general tips and give motivation to exercise. I regularly go to the gym and enjoy exercise such as running, cycling and general cardio work-outs. At the moment I am generally at a good fitness level, and I will share my experiences of building in muscle-mass. At the moment I weigh 9st 4 pounds, my height is 5ft 9inches, therefore my ideal weight would be above 10 stone.
